Preventive Measures
Our office is open; however we are limiting the amount of people in the office at one time to allow for social distancing.
- Please reschedule your appointment if you have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath) or have been exposed to someone known to have COVID-19.
- All patients are required to wear a face mask or face covering while in the office.
- Please use hand sanitizer or wash hands when in the office.
- Aim to maintain a six feet separation if possible
- We request patients come to the office unaccompanied unless it is necessary to have a guardian/help. (ex: one parent and one child)
- We have removed high touch items such as magazines, toys and pens.
- We will be staggering appointment times to ensure social distancing and time for cleaning.
- All frames that have been handled by patients will be sanitized. Please do not place them back on display.
- All surfaces (furniture, countertops, doorknobs, tablets, pens, restrooms, etc) will be sanitized regularly.
- Please schedule an appointment to select/purchase glasses. This will ensure social distancing and staff availability.
- Please be patient. For your safety, we are limiting the number of people in the office at one time. We will assist you as soon as we are available and it is safe to do so.
Can I wear contact lenses?
Yes, studies have confirmed that contact lenses are safe for healthy individuals during COVID-19. Remember to wash your hands before touching your face/eyes.
